The practice accepts adult patients on a private, pay-as-you-go basis. Following an initial examination, with appropriate x-rays, a treatment plan can be drawn up for each patient.

Once the patient's dental health has been stabilised, as an alternative to pay-as-you-go, we can offer our own monthly care plan - the Southlands Dental Care Plan. This spreads the cost of treatment throughout the year, with regular monthly payments. Alternatively patients can pay a yearly subscription with a one-off annual fee. The Care Plan also offers additional benefits such as the payment of out-of-hours call out fees and worldwide assistance in the event of a dental emergency arising when you are away from home. Dental injuries caused by trauma are also covered by the Care Plan.

Children whose parents are seen at the practice can be registered too. The practice has a children's pay-as-you-go fee list and also offers a children's care plan (Southlands Children's Care Plan) for patients under 16 years of age. Like the adult care plan, the children's scheme spreads the cost of dental treatment and covers the cost all routine dental care provided at the practice. The children's plan also provides the same level of out-of-hours emergency advice and dental injury cover as the adult care plan.

Please contact reception for further information about the types of treatment that we offer, and for a list of prices if you wish. They can also supply more information about the Southlands Dental Care Plan and Southlands Children's Care Plan.

From time to time we may have to temporarily close our books to new patients. This is so we can continue to offer sufficient access to appointments for our regular patients. During these times, the practice usually operates a waiting list system for new patients but this will be closed if the wait is likely to be excessive.
