The practice offers an emergency service to our registered patients.
To be registered you must have had a check up with us at least once in the previous 18 months. If it has been longer than 18 months since your last check up we may not be able to offer an appointment straight away, although we will if at all possible. We have to operate such a system to ensure a level of service to our regular patients.
If you are not registered with us, our receptionists will try to find an appointment for you as soon as possible for a new patient consultation. We will try to allow extra time in such situations so that your emergency can be addressed following your examination and if possible, for some initial treatment to be carried out.
If you have a dental emergency.
Please contact reception as soon as possible after we open in the morning if you require an emergency appointment. We always have time allocated in our appointment books to attend to dental emergencies, but these are nearly always at the end of the morning session.
If you have an urgent dental problem please ring in early.
If a dental emergency arises after the emergency session we will try to accommodate this if possible. However, it is more likely that an appointment will be offered for the next working day.
If you require advice or assistance for a dental emergency which arises during the course of a weekend or bank holiday, and cannot wait until the next working day, please call the practice reception for the contact details of the on-duty dentist. The practice provides emergency cover at these times in a rota with other local practices. As with emergencies which arise in the week, please contact the on-duty dentist in the morning so that they can offer assistance if required.
